小米决定从微软收购1500余项专利技术，开始在其安卓智能手机和平板电脑上装载 Microsoft Office和Skype。两家公司的全新合作内容包括签订交叉授权协议和专利转让协议。从9月开始，小米安卓设备，包括Mi 5, Mi Max, Mi 4s, Redmi Note 3 和 Redmi 3，将预装Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Skype应用程序。具体产品可能会根据设备,市场和移动运营商而有所变化。

 

 

 

Xiaomi has agreed to buy around 1,500 patents from Microsoft and start loading Microsoft Office and Skype on its Android smartphones and tablets. The companies’ new collaboration also includes a cross-license and patent transfer agreement. Beginning in September, Xiaomi Android devices, including the Mi 5, Mi Max, Mi 4s, Redmi Note 3 and Redmi 3, will come pre-installed with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Skype applications. Specific offerings may vary by device, market and mobile operator.

The Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) has released new 4G quality of service (QoS) standards. These standards target mobile network operators (MNOs) that provide 4G services on the local market. The 4G QoS standards issued by IDA relate to the pervasiveness of mobile coverage in Singapore, which includes outdoor areas, tunnels and within building premises.

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Meizu has launched its first experience service centre in India. Located at Select Citywalk Shopping Complex in Delhi, Meizu's Experience Service Centre (ESC) in Delhi will showcase Meizu's latest products in a demo zone. Meizu plans to expand its ESC model to other cities, including Bangalore, Mumbai, Kolkata in the near future.
