Czech MVNO Kaktus, the second brand of T-Mobile Czech Republic, has prepared a new reward for top-up for clients: one month of unlimited calls among Kaktus users for free.
 
Upon top-up of CZK 200, the unlimited on-net calls tariff Among Us automatically activates for 30 days.
 
The brand recorded a successful year 2015 when the number of customers increased to nearly 100,000. The number represents a 10 percent share in the 15–24 age group.
 
In 2015, Kaktus started mainly using online media for communication with customers, primarily Facebook. At the same time, it started cooperating with famous Czech youtubers, as the first brand in the Czech Republic.
 
In 2015, data services of the operator made 45 percent in total revenues, with calls making up 32 percent and SMS 23 percent. Kaktus focuses mainly on the young ‘online’ generation in the 15-24 age group, for which it has been, for a long time, the second most popular brand among MVNOs.

澳洲通讯及媒体局近日批评了澳洲电信的3G移动转售商Lycamobile没有处理好用户投诉的问题。
 
行业监管机构发现,移动虚拟运营商的投诉处理系统由于没能记录好每个回复日期从而妨碍了电信消费者保护法。
 
澳洲通讯及媒体局也提到“在一些有限制的情况中,Lycamobile未能建议消费者推迟解决这些投诉或是保存好已经提出的解决方案。”
 
2015年上半年,电信行业监管专员发现对于Telstra的3G运营商的投诉越来越多,于是在去年的8月份,澳洲通讯及媒体局展开了对Lycamobile的调查。
 
Lycamobile被批评了,澳洲通讯及媒体局讲到,移动虚拟运营商已经着手审查程序以确保在接下来的时间里符合规范。
 
澳洲通讯及媒体局主席Chris Chapman表示,从2011年重新连接客户咨询开始,电信行业的投诉处理已经越来越受到重视。
 
Telstra reseller Lycamobile in hot water with watchdog

ACMA prods MVNO into action.
 
The Australian Communications and Media Authority has accused Telstra 3G mobile reseller Lycamobile of failures in its complaints-handling procedures.
 
The industry watchdog has found the mobile virtual network operator’s complaints-handling procedures violated the Telecommunications Consumer Protections Code by failing “to keep any records of due response dates for its complaints”.
 
“And in some limited circumstances [Lycamobile] had not advised customers of delays in dealing with their complaints or kept records of proposed resolutions,” announced the ACMA.
 
An ACMA investigation into Lycamobile was triggered August last year when the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman noticed an increase in complaints about the Telstra 3G provider in the first half of 2015.
 
Lycamobile has been contacted for comment. ACMA said the MVNO had undertaken to review its procedures to ensure future compliance.
 
ACMA chair Chris Chapman said complaints-handling in the telco industry had improved noticeably since the Reconnecting the Customer enquiry in 2011.

MVNO Transatel said it’s expanded its mobile roaming offer to 40 countries, with Croatia and Hong Kong the latest additions.
 
Transatel provides a special Sim for laptops and tablets that is not linked to one country.
 
Through an online portal, customers can choose from various bundles and options to give them low-cost mobile internet in multiple countries. Prices include 1 GB in Croatia for EUR 19.
