捷克监管局已告知移动运营商降低给虚拟运营商的批发价。

 

这项规定是根据对移动虚拟运营商参考移动运营商基于4G移动网络所提供的批发价然后折转出零售价的能力的调查以后才出台的。

 

目的是为了确定批发价是否会影响出基础运营商以外的运营商在零售市场获利。监管局在2015年3月份的时候就进行了一次预估。

 

无论是根据之前的分析还是随后的最新调查结果，监管局已然要求基础运营商降低批发价了。

Czech regulator CTU has told mobile operators to lower their wholesale prices for virtual network operators.

 

This follows research on the ability of MVNOs to replicate the retail prices of mobile network operators based on the wholesale reference offers on LTE mobile networks.

 

The purpose of the assessment was to find out whether wholesale prices allow the alternative operators to run a profitable business on the retail market. The regulator conducted a similar assessment in March 2015.

 

Both after the previous analysis and following the latest results, the regulator has asked mobile operators to reduce wholesale prices.

 

 

 

 

2015年5月份，基于“三”网络的移动虚拟运营商iD移动在英国首次露面推出，近期在资费套餐中推出“当月流量不清零”的新业务。

 

在英国，该项新业务适用于“GoTo”套餐的一年期及两年期的所有新用户以及现存用户，同时适用于一月期的“GoTo”SIM卡套餐。此项新业务从用户计费周期第一天开始就会自动运行。

 

根据iD移动的最新消息，用户上月没使用完的数据流量会在下月标准流量之前使用以便用户最大程度地使用好自己的流量，所以上月遗存的数据流量会自动记入下个月中。用户可以使用运营商的app或是自己的iD门户上监控自己的数据使用情况。

 

iD移动为英国和爱尔兰最大的手机零售商Carphone Warehouse所有。

 

MVNO iD Mobile First to Launch Free Data Rollover Service in the UK

Mobile Network Virtual Operator(MVNO) in the UK, iD Mobile which was launched in May 2015 and runs on Three’s network has launched a new Data Rollover on its plans.

 

The Data Rollover feature, first in the UK will be available to all new and existing customers on a 12 or 24 month GoTo plan or a one-month GoTo SIM-Only plan. The free Data Rollover will automatically be applied to these plans on the first day of customers’ billing period.

 

According to iD Mobile, a customer’s Data Rollover allowance will always be used before any standard monthly data allocation to ensure customers are making the most of it, so any leftover from their monthly plan will automatically go into the next month. Customers can monitor and control their data with the operator’s iD app or through the My iD self care portal.

 

iD Mobile is owned by Carphone Warehouse, a leading mobile retailer in the UK and Ireland.

 

 

 

 

英国的有线运营商以及移动虚拟运营商维珍传媒已然要求欧盟委员会同意香港和记电讯对其竞争对手O2的收购案，以此来促进该国移动单元的发展。

 

上周,和记电讯将向其竞争对手开放网络以应对竞争顾虑,同时也将Three和O2的用户的价格稳定下来，反过来又能为维珍传媒以及其它提供商提供更多的存储空间。

 

对于已经提出的英国O2和Three并购案，维珍传媒的CEO汤姆·莫克里奇说到“只要不妨碍O2和Three的并购案，所有竞争疑虑都可以被打消”。

 

委员会先前已经清除了移动并购，由于批发调整导致移动运营商从四个缩减到三个。案例中的澳大利亚和爱尔兰，维珍传媒的母公司Liberty Global提供了更有竞争活力的消费选择。

 

汤姆提到“这同样适用于英国的O2-Three合并，合并以后将能为用户提供更多选择，更为重要地是，还能为其他运营商提供更多空间。正确的调整，这个交易足以刺激竞争而非减少竞争。”

 

Virgin Media Urges EC to Approve O2-Three Merger

UK cable operator and MVNO, Virgin Media has urged the European Commission (EC) to approve the purchase of rival O2 by the Hong Kong group Hutchison to boost the mobile sector in the country.

 

Last week, Hutchison in a statement said that it will open its network to competitors in response to competition concerns, as well as impose a price freeze for Three and O2 customers which in turn will provide more capacity for Virgin Media and other providers.

 

Commenting on the proposed merger between Three and O2 in the UK, Virgin Media Chief Executive Tom Mockridge said that “Any competition concerns can be addressed without blocking the proposed O2-Three transaction.”

 

The Commission has previously cleared mobile mergers which resulted in a reduction in the number of mobile operators from four to three, subject to wholesale remedies. In two of these cases, Austria and Ireland, Virgin Media’s parent company Liberty Global provides vigorous competition and consumer choice as a result of taking EU remedies.

 

“The same can be true in the UK. A combined O2-Three could have more to offer consumers and, crucially, more capacity for other providers who want to drive competition in their own right. With the right remedies, this deal could stimulate not curb competition,” said Tom.
